The hospital has 34 beds with electronic position control in single or double rooms. The wards provide all the necessary conditions for the comfort of our patients, such as air-conditioned rooms with TV sets, individual telephones, faxes and internet for each room (including wireless access), and all central daily newspapers. The menu is individualized in compliance with the diagnosis and the concomitant diseases of the patients. The opportunity for a consult with a nutritionist is available as well. All patients are visited three times a day by a cardiologist, while a nurse is at their disposal all the time.

The intensive care unit of the hospital has a 24 hour personal and electronic monitoring of all indicators required. This unit has 6 beds. It has been furnished and equipped by the latest standards with state-of-the-art technology for treatment of critical patients. It has a central monitoring station with a 24-hour record of all vital indicators: arterial pressure, respiration frequency, saturation, ECG, etc.;
multi-functional electrical beds, all diagnostic and therapeutic options, both invasive and non-invasive: ECG, EchoCG, including transesophageal, Dobutamine stress test, precise laboratory tests. The unit has the capacity to perform elective electrical cardio version for all indicated patients which arrhythmias. It has also the capacity for heavy resuscitation, the equipment for which includes a controlled respiration device, invasive pressure measurement monitors, monitors for SwanGanz catheters, as well as a balloon counterpulsation device for mechanical treatment of cardiogenic shock.

The hospital’s angiography room ranks only with the best worldwide. Built, consulted and equipped according to the world standards, it ensures the best working conditions to the cardiologists and the necessary amenities to the patients. The audio and video connection with a specially developed multimedia room contributes to the high-quality education and training of young specialists. The patients are able to watch on screens the manipulations they undergo in real time. The rooms have a centralized automatic air-conditioning system, with noise insulation and extremely pleasant ambience. The international teams of interventional cardiologists are not only the most elite ones in Bulgaria, but also some of the best in Europe. Currently, there is a project for equipping the ERs and ambulances with the opportunity for GSM network data transfer directly to the intensive care cardiac units.
