Boyz II Men Cancel Bulgaria Concert
Legendary rhythm and blues group Boyz II Men have canceled their concert in the Balkan countries, including Bulgaria, as part of what was initially announced as a farewell European tour.
Boyz II Men were to perform in the Winter Palace in Sofia on May 5, 2010.
Sofia was to be the first stop on the European route of the R’n’B group, whose members are coming together for the first time in seven years.
The group have apologized for not being able to stage a concert in Bulgaria and have expressed hope that Sofia will host one of their concerts in the future, making it clear their upcoming tour will not be the last one.
The legendary Philadelphia group was founded in 1988 by Nathan Morris and Michael McCary who were later joined by Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman.
The organizers of the group’s concert in Sofia, Symphonics Entertainment and NG Partners, had announced that a number of Bulgarian pop stars known as BGN All-Stars were also to take part in the concert, including Maria Ilieva, Beloslava, Grafa, Lyubo, among others.
