| I decided to start this topic because I was rambling on in another topic and of course I then ended up going off topic anyway I have looked around to see that there isn't another topic the same and did come across one that was started by a guest? but it seem to have some negative undertones to it so I hope no one minds me starting a new one, so over to you and tell us all what you think/believe Bulgaria has to offer that no other place does in the same way and only the positive please you can save any negatives for elsewhere? |

| Ah!! Daisy Oh go on lou do it - tell us what we are missing We love Bulgaria, we have made lots of friends. Love our place in the country - love the way everyone just drops in on Sunday all bringing us mountains of fruit that we already have in the garden Love trying to understand each other and when we finally do everyone cheers. Love walking though the village and everyone coming out to talk to us - a 10 minute walk can take us an hour and a half. Love the wonderful hot summer and the lush green of the countryside. Love when people ring and say coffee/breakfast now - we drop everything and go. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] oddy

Mike Mike, I like most of your constructive postings and I read them with interest, but I am sorry to have to disagree on this one, nearly ZERO crime, you must be living on another planet if you believe that. Ask Petar at NOPUS for example Look (daily) at Google Alerts-property fraud and organised crime in Bulgaria Everybody, please be vigilant at all times as prevention is better than cure Sorry folks to be a killjoy but don't get a false sense of security. Been there, done that and got the " T" shirt Experience is a wonderful thing |

| Well i suppose it depends where you live in Bulgaria, where i live in Yambol 0.8% crime you cant really complain at that,no knife crime, and i feel very very safe at night walking about, you cant do that in the uk.Property fraud is another matter,Bulgaria is a very corrupt country,so expect fraud on a very large level
