Pensions and Utilities Paid in Village Pub
A postman does all services at one desk and is punished for that
The dream of a couple of Bulgarian governments to optimize administration has come true in the village of Kukurahtsevo, Petrich region, southwestern Bulgaria. The merits go with the postman Ruman Boyadjiev and the local inn-keeper. While having a drink in the pub, villagers receive their pensions and pay their electricity bills. The idea is by the postman who comes from the neighbouring village of Gega and was sick of touring all the houses. He also had the responsibility to collect the money for the electricity bills.
The new scheme worked perfectly before the mayoral proxy, Ventsislav Markov heard of it. He believes the postman, Boyadjiev, was committing a brutal violation of the law. "
I will appeal to the Prosecutor's Office, I have provided an office in the mayor's building for him and he gives out pensions in the pub,"
Markov commented angrily.
