Bulgaria "
Good Value"
for Skiers

People looking for a ski holiday can pick up "
excellent deals"
at the moment, according to one expert.

Anthony Chenery, travel expert at Teletext Holidays, said many good package holidays are available at the moment because operators are cutting prices in order to stimulate interest.

Europe is offering some excellent deals at the moment. There are some resorts which, if you are really looking for cheaper package ski deals, you should look at - places like Bulgaria,"
he said.

Andorra also is a traditional great value resort,"
he added.

Advanced skiers might find bigger resorts in Austria, France or Switzerland provide more challenging courses, Mr Chenery noted, adding that good value holidays are also available in these destinations at present.

Earlier this month Teletext Holidays launched a new ski price index which aims to make keeping track of the best last minute skiing bargains easier. The index is updated on a weekly basis.
