Maybe if people weren't so paranoid about shooting, fishing etc, more people would be able to survive in situations like this. Yep you can say it's a reality programme. But if anything ever goes seriously wrong, I foresee a lot of starving people dying outside of Kaulfland/Sainsburys whilst those who've had a more rounded upbringing and who shoot, hunt and fish, are out in the countryside with full bellies surviving.

This is proving to be a really interesting programme. It is not at all what I expected. But as a study of a group of people slowly starving to death and seemingly unable to break out of the downward spiral it is quite fascinating.

I really enjoyed this, as I love 'survivor' type programmes. But one thing gets me every time is that what do the people taking part expect? They all seemed shocked that a dead deer was presented to them to eat, what on earth did they expect? It's as though no-one has any sort of common sense, for example, why didn't they think to store the fruit and nuts rather than just leave it out in the open. Why didn't anyone think about the potential insect bites and research herbal treatments before they went in? I know I would have done.

That being said, I suppose that the producers want the usual 'entertainment' value of people failing and suffering

Watched it a couple of time and although life must be a little hard for them it's not really very convincing is it?

Not watched it yet but looks like it might be interesting so I may give it a bit of viewing time
