| The temperature that is!
Currently around -12 °C here between Veliko Tarnovo and Sevlievo and still falling just like the snow that has not let up for the past few days.
Our dogs love playing out in it all but it will be an extremely well wrapped up person taking them out for their walk this afternoon!
Still at least the house is warm and nice glass of malt whisky will be waiting on our return.
Happy New Year everyone!!! |

Happy New Year everyone!!! The forecast advises that the temperatures will rise in the next day or two, but not above freezing until next week. |

| Summer has arrived!
First morning for ages when the outside thermometer shows a positive figure, now sitting nicely at +2 degrees.
T-shirt and shorts on for the dog walk this morning! |

| Best tip I ever had from my Bulgarian neighbour was to leave all the taps slightly open (just a slight drip) in winter. Saves frozen or burst pipes and works out a lot cheaper in the end. It worked for us! |

We always do exactly the same and we have never had any problems, we also go the idea from a neighbour which leads me to think its a Bulgarian idea |

| Yes we do this at home in the cold period , so will do it here too. Here we take off all the taps when we leave for UK even though everything is drained down the taps split - so put salt down the drains and toilets and removed the taps. |

| Woke up to -17 on the thermometer this morning with glorious sunshine and clear skies, not much chance of the snow thawing here today. |

| Ice froze coast of Varna, the sea evaporates
Pic .: Moreto.net ww.moreto.net/novini.php?n=276188& p=11 Nova TV
Wednesday, January 7, 2015 12:21 Arctic cold gripped the country, began turning coastal stones perfused wave in ice sculptures. Due to the low air temperature in Varna is observed a rare phenomenon - " boiling sea" . It can be seen, when the air temperature falls below 10 degrees, and the sea water is still warm. |
