just had a wonderful thought for a Sunday Morning,
what would it be like to have a Grand Prix or better still a Car Rally in BG,
just thinking about it they would not have to go off road racing as some of the pot holes are bigger than moon craters, and the police would be holding all of them up at their speed traps telling them even on closed roads they will have to keep to the speed limits, of off course take there fines and frog march them to the cash point if they have no cash.
The above brings me to another point why do UK Police give Euro-drivers a ticket so they can run away and not pay but we can not do that here in BG, and also with the fines being paid locally why do the roads still have potholes, in the UK they use the excuse of all these fines not being paid for our potholes so the answer is simple get the money in from the fines.

They built a formular one raciing tack in Sliven 9 years ago it has never been used.

Quite agree Paddy, on the spot fines for non UK residents is a gr8 idea.

In America if you do not pay the traffic fine whilst you are there then you either pay as you arrive on your next visit or you don't go back.

UK could never be able to do spot fines to non residents - They would probably be the only country that would be branded as racist
