Hi Guys

Just been told if I rent my house out here in the UK and move abroad than I have to become a non resident here in the UK - is this correct and what are the implications involved in residency. Been trying to ring the tax office on and off all day but a call centre and long ques so gave up on two occasions.

If you are renting, then its still your home? technically still a resident? my circumstances slightly different to yours , but closed up my business informed tax office and pensions department, provided UK postal address and Daughter POA, and have had no problems? that was 7 years ago
