Hi could anyone recommend a company that specializes in rebuilding Carbs to as new condition? here in the UK

The Carb in question is VW a Solex from my 66 Beetle 1200cc

I'm looking for a specialist that can chemically clean and rebuild to original tolerances

Any suggestions ??????????

Yes just bits of the interior to finish off, I took it for its second mot recently and it passed with flying colors, mind you it had only done 11 miles in 12 months

I have just looked through the reams of paperwork that i have regarding my 2 VW Campers, as i had one set of my carbs rebuilt to a brand new condition by a guy in the midlands, but sadly could not find his info.
This was some years ago and i think he may have retired since (he used to go to most of the VW shows), but i will keep looking and if i find the info i will let you know.

Thanks Bernie but I am really looking for a company that others have had good experience with, anyone can advertise in these mags.
