| Well we are really please to hear this a new centre has opened in Silistra for children/adults with disabilities however it appears to be quote small and accommodate 14 individuals. We were under the opinion it was going to be much bigger and only take the more serious cases. Anyway they have asked for our help and we have already started with clothing, and learning toys for them.
Newly Center for family-type accommodation will be officially opened tomorrow in Silistra. The center is iztraden project " House for Children at Risk - Silistra " worth over 800 000 lev . In a new building built under the project " Home for Children at Risk" will live 14 children and young people at risk aged 3 years old. Their accommodation will be the " Do not abandon any child" , which will start in March 2014. In SFTH find children at risk are staff of 12 people after a competition that already work for the adaptation of children and their placement in the home. The new type of social service aims to provide consistent and adequate care in a family-like environment for these children and young people for a period of 10 months. The service will continue after this period as delegated state activities. |

This a beautiful place just built to accommodate 14 severely disabled children and youngsters. Dougie I visited it last week and we were well impress only they ran out of money so did not have the essentials like curtains, nets, blankets, lnen, towels, toys, games etc etc. However, these items were already on our lst of necessities. We will be guests of honor at the official press conference on Tuesday 13th May. |
