It sure is a novel way to cut wood Berni - if only the logs I purchase would cut that easy!!

That was good. thanks, I must admit youtube has got some really good videos if we take the time to scroll through the rubbish.

Another good idea I saw on youtube was where you placed (probably nailed) a car tyre on top of your chopping block then placed logs inside the centre of the tyre which then stopped them flying all over the place when hit with the axe and obviously being able to cut more logs before having to re-place them.
