| Nothing special just need a long break thinking of taking some time out and instead of going to BG go elsewhere for a while. No definite plans yet but thinking ahead |

| Have been looking at Egypt got a good deal over Xmas and New Year but there is a political demonstration going on there at the moment which is causing big problems. The holiday resort is nowhere near the demonstration but now thinking should I book now or leave for a while. |

Try Tunisia, very much like Egypt. I know the country well having worked out there for twenty hotels and the Tunisian tourist board Here is a comment from a past holiday maker Jay Trip Post subject: Re: Christmas in Tunisia. Posted: Dec 27th, '12, 22:11 Latest Holiday Review: Riviera Hotel Just back from an amazing Christmas in the Riviera hotel. :tup . The hotel, staff, food, company and weather were all great. We spent Christmas day on the beach and even went in the sea. The weather was better than we expected and only had one shower which we missed as we had gone indoors for lunch. Cant wait to go back in April. :sun2 :Alone: |

Hi Berni - sorry only just seen this note. Turkey in December is OK, T shirt and trousers not a problem during the day. When the sun goes down a jacket of some sort sort is required because the temperature plummets without the sun shining on it and on your goodself of course!! The weather turns in early January which is usually followed by rain and can be cold at night, especially for me in a kilt when I have played the Pipes for Burn's Night's. |

| Even at the end of May, once the sun went down if just sitting around 'as you do in most of the outdoor bars and restaurants' it was just a little bit chilly. chilly enough for it to spoil the rest of the night if you wanted to stay out and about, in fact I went out one day and brought a fleece which kept me lovely and warm every night. (very late at night) |
