People queuing up in Thailand...sit down and relax and let the sandals do the queuing for you...

Could not happen in the UK Elf and Safety. People could catch spores and nasty stuff off bare feet

this is so simple and effective why don't we all adopt these idea. Makes life easy and takes the weight off

While queuing in the tax office here in VT I was intrigued when an elderly lady turned up, spoke to someone in the queue and promptly took their place. That person then left. I guess there is a market for people to queue for you unless or else a kindly relative.

That is a proper business in Asia - you can hire young students to queue for you for all sorts of things. Going rate is US$5-6 an hour and slightly more if you want them to camp out overnight Makes sense to me. I love the shoes in line though!
