Before anyone say's - yes this question must have be asked a dozen times,but what outlets can you get vignettes from.
When entering Bulgaria at Vidin we stopped at at least 4 garages before we were able to eventually get a vignette. The garage was small in comparison to others where we stopped and now we need to get another in the next day or so to last us longer than a week.
Would the village post office/shop sell them or is it only major garages that are able to sell them?
Any advice much appreciated.

Most larger garages and some post offices sell them..the longer the validity period, the cheaper the fee.

purchase 1st february for the year at onv garage always has them. They can be purchased any time and if you buy for the year it will still run out for the 1st of February but it will still be cheaper then buying one every month did they not sell you one at the border crossing shame on them if they didn't you could have got pulled up and fined

OMV, LukOil, Eco, Petrol, Shell and a few others should have them..

We live in a small village and our post office sells them.
