| can someone confirm what heidi chow means. i believe i know but need it confirmed. the reason i ask is that when i visit the bulgarian neighbours, who are lovely people. we are either greeted with a full scale sit down meal and homemade rakia. they are so lovely and hospitable or a blunt heidi chow . i dont really know where i am with these people or is this just how it is. today your welcome and tomorrow your not. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] we try not to intrude in their daily lives but they are always asking us to go round. confused. : : |

| Hi starlight don't worry about the neighbours it is what it is. Heidi chow is used often when people are departing for what ever reason. It's the same when you ask them how they are they always say up and down so never take that as there is a problem This is a good post though as these things are important to point out to newbies |

| VG is exactly right. It's a statement, not a rebuff, so don't read it as one. |

A bit of conversation (how are you, etc.), and then throw in the 'heidi-ciao' as a (ah well, must get on, see you later). |
