| I need tomato puree for my cooking, preferably in a tube. i have looked in many supermarkets but there are thousands of combinations of red paste and i dont know what they are for I have tried asking but they have not quite got what it is i want. they keep showing me tins of tomatoes anyone know the bulgarian word as i am losing the battle. |

| I think I found some in small tins in Billa once, and they were pretty good.
Try asking for: доматено пюре
See if that works! |

| The word you need is " Puree" that is what they use |

| in the past i have bought the TUBES of puree from , metro and from carfours....not seen the tubes in kauflands but the small tins of it is the same as youd buy back home |

| Loads of the small tins of tomato PUREE for 39stots in CBA VT. Also very big jars of it, so as said, look for puree. Sorry no Bulgarian keyboard. The other jars you see looking like tomato paste are probably Liutensha which is a paste of sweet peppers and tomatoes which can also be used for sauces. The Bulgarians seem to use it for everything and as a sauce like Ketchup all of which are usually on the same shelf. |

| We have made it a few times with different recipes with varying degrees of success so its a case of finding a good one and going for it. |
