Ticket Scramble for Lady Gaga's Sofia Gig Begins Friday

The sale of tickets for what is believed by many to be one of Bulgaria's greatest music gigs of all time – Lady Gaga's concert in Sofia on August 14, 2012 – will start on Friday, organizers said.

5-time Grammy Award winner's Sofia gig will be the first one in the European leg of her Born This Way Ball tour.

The organizers from Sofia Music Enterprises believe that a record number of people will try to get tickets for the concert scheduled to take place on Bulgaria's National Stadium "
Vasil Levski"

The gig will come exactly three years after the phenomenal performance of Madonna, whose successor the extravagant Lady Gaga is said to be.

The Born This Way Ball, produced globally by Live Nation, already reaped huge success in Seoul, South Korea. Performances have been scheduled in a total of 21 European cities.

In her new tour, Gaga will perform her latest album Born This Way as well as music from both The Fame and The Fame Monster.

Lady Gaga's concert in Sofia was threatened to fail, as Bulgaria's national football team was to face Cyprus in a friendly game on the same venue on August 15. However, the Bulgarian Football Union recently decided to move the game to a different stadium.

The Born This Way Ball starring Lady Gaga will be moved to the Armeec Arena, the date of the concert remains the same – August 14th, 2012, at 8 pm.
Ticket Exchange:
The price categories of the tickets and their positioning in relation to the stage will remain the same. All standing tickets will remain valid for the Armeec Arena, without needing to be reissued. The seated tickets will be reissued with new seat numbers. The exchange procedure will take place from July 18th until August 14th, 8 pm on the day
of the concert, at the following places:

Monster Pit details:
- due to venue capacity issues, only those with GA floor tickets will be eligible to earn Monster Pit access
- for safety &
security reasons, fans won’t be permitted to line up at the venue before 8am local time the day of the show;
those with GA floor tickets can line up in the Monster Pit eligibility line. The afternoon of each show, Monster Pit access wristbands will be distributed to GA floor ticket holders who have arrived first, waited the longest, and dressed to “Ball”
-ANY FANS THAT ARRIVE AT THE VENUE PRIOR TO 8:00 A.M. ON THE DATE OF ANY SHOW WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED FROM POSSIBLY BEING SELECTED TO ENTER THE MONSTER PIT FOR THAT SHOW.
- a very limited amount of Monster Pit passes will be held and distributed at random each night for those who do NOT have GA floor tickets;
these will be awarded at random to fans who have arrived first, waited longest, + dressed to “Ball” but do not have GA floor tickets
- To give as many fans as possible a chance to win, no fan can be the Monster Pit key holder more than once.
