Hi everyone, I flew into Plovdiv airport for the first time on saturday, and thought you might like to hear my views.
Ryanair from Stansted, a very early flight 6.30am, so had to get to Stansted for about 4.00pm, parked the car in the long stay (£94 for 2 weeks 2 days). The flight was ok a bit disorganized at the check in and there was not enough room to open a normal paper very easily, but then again it is a budget so I guess you need to expect this.
Landing at Plovdiv was good as we were the only passenger plane there so the baggage reclaim was a breeze, there is only 1 runway and no taxiways so after landing the plane had to turn around and taxi back up the runway to get to the small arrivals lounge, (so i guess they will not be able to expand to much), which makes it a very relaxed airport at the moment.
