Anybody had one of these [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Hello

I'm sorry for this odd request because it might get to you too urgent but it's because of the situation of things right now, I'm stuck in Madrid Spain with Family right now, we came down here on holiday we were robbed, the situation seems worse as bags, cash ,credit cards and cell phone were stolen at GUN POINT, It's such a crazy experience for us, we need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive but the good thing is that we still have our passport but don't have enough money to get our flight ticket back home, please I need you to lend me some money, I will reimburse you right as soon as I'm back home. I promise

Thanks In Advance
Adrian &
Lorna

Yep, I've had one. Very clever as it was in the name of a good French friend of mine! I figured if he really was in that situation, he'd have phoned me.

Someone hacked into my email account a couple of years ago and sent
a similar letter to all of my contacts! As Chris has said, friends knew it
wasn't me, but it took ages to get my email address back, with no help
whatsoever from yahoo. Begging letter 794030042 Needless to say, I changed my email address.

One friend phoned to ask me if I was alright! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Haven't had a begging letter but I have had 2 'SPAM' emails from Freezerman which went straight into Junk Mail. Anyone else had these? One said to click on a video which of course, I didn't. How did this happen because normally I have emails from Andrew Moat which are just emailing where he will be and when. Wonder if he knows about this.

I had another 'spam' message last week:

"
Need a house sitter in Bulgaria to look after your home and pets while you
are away?
To find out more about us and our services, please visit our web site"

I have never heard of these people and was about to send off a rather stroppy message about sending me messages I've not asked to receive. But, at the end of the day, I decided to just bin it (it was already in my spam box anyhow)

It's a strange world we all live in now. There is always someone ready to roll us over given half the chance. In our case it was someone from the UK.
