Hi Everyone. Our Bulsatcom annual subscription expires soon and I have been thinking of changing to Vivacom. We have the full package with Bulsatcom which includes the film channels but Vivacom doesn't seem to have HBO and Cinemax on their full package except with more cost. However, I have been told that there is a Vivacom film channel. I was also told that the films were English ( presumably with subtitles) however being well aware that the whole truth might not be told what do members here think if they have Vivacom? It does have more news channels including Euronews which Bulsatcom doesn't which seems strange. Also, they say I can have another TV connection for an extra 4levs. Is this for another box or just to be able to watch the same channels in another room? Any help on this gratefully accepted. Thanks.

we have our internet and telephone plus our mobile phones through Vivacom and we have no complaints good service free to phone england any time for up to an hour on the land line and half an hour a month on the mobile.
For TV we use the computer through the TV and watch all english TV through filmon it doesn't cost any thing. There is a package you can buy through them depends how much tv you want to watch.

It depends on where you live what Internet service you get, our signal from Vivacom is absolute rubbish and we will changing to Vestel when our contract runs out. We were asked whether we wanted to renew our contract early for the TV at a lower price and thought that was a good idea, only to find a week later that a lot of the programmes were now in French or german with BG subtitles. This is a funny world to live in now, there is always someone who is going to deceive you at no cost to themsleves. Our Vivacom Internet is absolutely useless and it is advisable to check your signal stength before you sign up. We can't have Skype or streamline TV programmes, so not lot of good.

Sorry everyone for a misunderstanding here. I am only interested on the television package with Vivacom. Is it better than Bulsatcom and do you get the free couple of months if you pay for a year? I am satisfied with my internet and Vivacom only do a dongle anyway for our village. So people - do you think that Vivacom TV full package is better than Bulsatcom? Thanks.

Our Bulstat subscriptions ends soon too and were going with sky. I looked at vivacom but it seems to have a very limited amount of channels, not as good as bulstat;
which i enjoy. But theyve started to translate too many programes now which is great for the bulgarians, but not for me because, except for the news, i like to watch my programes in english.
Ive found a great package on the internet and as long as you provide your one equipment the sky card is £175 for the yr. So my parents are bringing it over with the equipment, £7 secondhand from ebay.

Also has Euronews, Al Jazeera, CNN (I hate) and other news channels besides the usual Bulgarian ones and TV 1000 for films. Is the Vivacom film channel mostly English? Has no-one got Vivacom on this forum?

Al-Jazeera has now disappeared from Vivacom. The film channels are mostly English, but early in the evening you will be lucky to find more than three channels in English.

I use Bulsatcom satellite and am quite happy with it. For something different I use Filmon..mainly for BBC, although there is a lot of choice regarding other types of progams ie. I find the feed from NASA in HD to be very interesting.
