Its a while since I have been here.
I have an English single male friend with no ties, who I know personally and I have done for many years and I have worked alongside him a few years ago. I can vouch for him. He is looking to visit Bulgaria and stay for 1 week or 2 weeks (or maybe long term 1-2 months in the right place)  in the Popovo/Dobrich area of Elhovo, Bolyarovo,Stefan Karajhovo or Yambol area, but may consider other areas. He doesn't really like hotels.
He would welcome the chance to stay with an English family/couple or a single persons just for the social company or rent a house/room/caravan. He would also consider staying with a Bulgarian, who can speak a small amount of English. Do you know somebody struggling in this area and would welcome a bit of extra income?
He is a Male, late 40s, single, clean and tidy, sociable, non smoker, social drinker but not a heavy drinker or a drunk.He has a driving licence. He has worked all his life, so not a scrounger, currently  planning to get away from England for a short while and get some sun. Currently living and working in England.
He has been before to Bulgaria and had stayed at our old Bulgarian house about a dozen times over 5-6 years with his  ex partner, which we no longer own. We never had any problems with damage or with neighbours. He even cut the grass and kept the garden under control whilst he was there, before we came back over.
Payment in cash or via bank account weekly, small deposit upfront on arrival if required.
Ideally some meals involved would be welcome.
He is prepared to help around the place if required, but he his not a tradesman or a serious diyer, he does like cutting grass and tidying gardens.
Any offers will be welcome short or long term, but at negotiable Bulgarian prices not tourist inflated prices please. This is a genuine man with no social issues. Internet/wifi is needed either onsite or internet cafe close by.

Dates required from June 20 onwards to September. Any dates in between

Yes a decent bloke. I just spoke to him and he is chomping at the bit to get out to Bg, but a little disappointed that nobody at the moment wants a paying guest. He is thinking maybe tomorrow at a push and he might bring his pop up Glastonbury tent to start him off for a day or two.

But not everybody lives in the areas that he would like to stay in...even though they are quite a distance apart.

As a local owner for over 11 years in the Elhovo/Yambol area before I reluctantly sold our little haven of peace and quiet, there was lots of full time Brits in this area. The area from Bolyarovo to Yambol is only 58km town to town, so not that big of an area I personally would say.
This is the Popovo/Dobrich area of Elhovo not the other Main towns/cities up near Varna, which has regulary caused some confusion.


He is still here in the Uk at the moment and still hopeful of finding a roof over his head in Bulgaria.
I will be monitoring this forum for him and passing .on the info wherever he is.
