If you have any sour cherry trees in your garden, try making cherry brandy.2 litre rakia to 1 kg of both sugar and sour cherry. Put in a decanter all together and shake daily. Leave for a month or longer on a window sill, it needs some sun. Drain off the cherries and you have beautiful cherry brandy and some lovely cherries to eat after too. g

No. Just as they are. washed and just put them in with the sugar. as you shake each day the sugar slowly dissolves. Make sure its put in a warm sunny spot, on the kitchen windowsill. The web actually says, 1 litre rakia, 1kg sugar, 1 kg sour cherries. Its actual name is visnjevac.

Cherry Brandy 3356871870 Well done and thanks for sharing: I also heard when you have finished with the cherry stones they can be put in your home makde paper masha bricks and dried out ready for winter the cherry stones last all night. g
