HI Snail

Obviously, it's from DSK Bank to you.

It basically says:

Please could you come to the DSK Bank, Elhovo Branch, no later than 01/30/2012 to "
close the share capital"
(I can't help you with what that means!)

Maybe it's to somebody else?

I didn't put the name on the open forum in case you didn't want it known.

However, the initials are R.P.J.

If that's not you, then it must be for somebody else!!

Perhaps you could take the letter down to Elhovo and find out?

Hi Snail

They did send it to Robert Paul Jiles (or Giles, very little difference in Bulgarian) so it certainly for you!

Maybe best to take it to Elhovo and ask them what it's about?

Cheers
Chris

Take someone with you who speaks Bulgarian or get a translator to go with you, won't cost much.

Have you, or someone authorised on your behalf, started a company recently?

The 'share capital' the letter is refering to, is an account that is needed when a company is opened. This holds the nominal share capital of 2 leva in it and is required to open companies. It is like a holding account and the normal process after the company is started is to either close this account (which they are asking you to do) or transfer it to a proper company account with your company name.

Perhaps the person that started your company did this on your behalf? g

Thanks for all the help l recieved on here.
l have now sorted the problem out.
apparently it was to do with a company l have bought through when l purchased a property here for a Euro and had 2 lev's back from the bank when l closed it.The account is now closed and l can get on with my life.
lt has also something to do with a back log of people buying through a company to clear the back log.Well!,that was what l was told. But at least l can feel more relaxed about l have no outstanding bills l knew nothing about.
Thanks again for all your help.l am now relaxing with a few drinks..HIC!
