I think some of those figures are from a time long since gone It just goes to show you how the mighty fall. Lets be honest here whats it worth? not a lot a fear not in this day and age, I've noticed over the last year that a lot of their advertisers have gone so they aren't selling much anyway.

It seems that some of the members over there are finding this equally as funny as I am :LMHO:I think he must be having a laugh if he thinks anyone would be interested in that forum maybe many years ago but now he's bled it dry he wants to dump it on some poor unsuspecting soul.

All the forums are very quiet at the moment and will be for some time and I'm afraid those that were only created for the purposes of making an income will not stand the test of time unlike this forum that doesn't make any money from the adds :Clap:as we all know Ashley the Admin on here pays for everything and any revenue generated goes to Silistra, so unless Ashley decides not to pay for the site then we are here for a while unlike others that bail out of a sinking ship.

I know this forum in question and I don't think it will be any great loss to anyone if it goes, its not worth a great deal and its become more like a bring and buy forum where members only use the forum to sell something to others sometimes I see members on there who register just to sell something and that's it you don't see them again so when they say they have 10,000 members well maybe they do but how many active ???? Anyway I will make him an offer here and now £25.0000 in cash and I'll take it off his hands................... That is he has to pay me

Quite right varnagirl. How could you all be so terrible about this other forum owner that does really only care about its members, the way you are talking anyone would think that the owner is only interested in making mony?? fromn all the adds and we all know that this is just so TRUE [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

OK a joke is a joke lets not take this into the realms of slagging other forums off. By all means discuss the sale but thats it.

I guess your right nets but some of us will be happy to see it go. Looking at the forum today I don't think it really has a value as a business ? if the parent company are selling it then I would think the days of the big dollars have now gone.

Looking at the accounts I don't think its got much going for it take a look below and you will see that the company as a whole is going down hill along with most other companies in this sector.

I see what you mean , you can see a downward trend from 2007 which is about the time the property market began to sink but I wonder why they held onto it for so long knowing that the market was going to crash? surely people like them should have known this? Anyway looking at it I don't think its one for me I like to make a few bob here and there not lose it.

My Bulgaria, has been very strong. So the site is best valued using a more traditional approach based on turnover / profit / goodwill / reputation etc – it’s not really unlike any other business and the fact that it’s online is just an extra benefit rather than its sole selling point!

In essence it’s worth whatever anyone wants to pay for it... to some it may be an extremely valuable resource to either run as a sole entity or add to an already established commercial enterprise... to others it’s worth b**ger all! :Laugh:

However, Balkan Holdings are selling simply because they are disposing of all of their Bulgarian assets and they would much prefer that My Bulgaria goes to an individual or company who would continue to run the site and particularly the forums on an impartial and independent basis.

The accounts of My Bulgaria Ltd (England Co. No. 05023522) for 2009 and 2010

The accounts for 2009 are audited. Those for 2010 are a simple abbreviated balance sheet.

The Directors' Report for year ended 31 Dec 2009 includes this statement:-

The company is primarily dependent for its revenues on the Real Estate Agents marketing property for sale in Bulgaria and continues to suffer from a decline in advertising. This situation is unlikely to change whilst demand for overseas property remains weak. The Company made a small net profit before taxation of £1,397 in the year. Advertising was reduced again in the year being only 55% of that recorded in 2008."


The sole shareholder received a dividend of £100,000 in 2009.

The 2009 accounts show that £7,290 was spent on Computer and Website.
