At 3 am Bulgarian time on March 27, all clocks will be turned one hour forward until 4 am Bulgarian time on October 30, 2011. So, all who are in Bulgaria on March 27, should not forget to put the hands of their clocks one hour forward.

Clocks go forward one day late in Turkey this year. Schoolchildren are taking major exams on Sunday and the government don't want to upset the status quo by changing the time then, so clocks go forward on Sunday night.

Don't think that would happen in the UK. In any case, they'll be too busy watching the peoples' money go down the drain. ::

You are also required to drive with your headlights on during the winter period. Also take note of any other winter laws E.G. Carrying snow chains, fitting winter tyres etc

Hi Tony, we knew about putting the headlights on and fitting winter tyres, but it is compulsory
to carry snow chains? We've hired cars here in winter before and they didn't have chains!
