Im trying to decide whether to bring my show jumps and dressage markers over to hold competions. Any one know if theres any horsey people near razgrad, popovo, targovishte that might fancy a competion or two?

We've not lived in the UK for some 16 years or more, but when we were there, my wife was the British National Champion in Long Distance (100 kms).

I have never participated in long distance riding, but liked showjumping, I did spend 4 hours in the saddle with the New Forest Foxhounds, it was a long day out and I managed to drink the Port and Brandy hip flask until it was empty. My two daughters competed in many Pony Club events and most weekends were spent with them showjumping somewhere in the country, my youngest daughter had the privilege of showjumping at Hickstead. Good old days!!

hope you'll both come if we manage to get organised. I'll definately bring my stuff over. My plan is to teach and do riding holidays and stuff but i love showjumping and long distance and hunting. So i'm hoping to be able to start a regular thing doing small competitions partly as a social thing and partly because i'm really competative and don't want to stop. I really fancy having a go at cart racing although i'm not too good at stearing them so i'll need to practice. Know what you mean about the mucking out. My personal dislike is wet hay.
