with spring nearing and then the lovely summer, it is too nice to be indoors but can be too hot to be in the sun. I have a shaded patio areas which is the best place to be when the summer is at its hottest.
so i thought i would put a telly in the patio area so we have entertainment and can sit there all evening until midnight, bliss.

television outside because the insects will get in, dust too, and the humidity is not good for the telly.

mmmm i had no intention of leaving the telly out in the winter, but, all the televisions you see outside in the cafes here and in spain dont look anything more than an ordinary telly.

Perhaps they are referring to long terms exposure outside - the night air and morning dew, even in really hot weather we seemed to have morning dew. Hence would damage tv. Other options is a wheelie trolley.

I have friends that have an ordinary tv on the patio and yes it gets dusty but they don't seem to have any problems, I would try it with an old one that your not to bothered about or a small portable and see how it goes.

Can't wait for next summer and enjoying the heat and the light nights.

I use a standard tv and just cover it at night with a plastic bag never had any problems

House your tv in a wooden box and add a bowl of salt,the wood and salt will keep any moisture away
