It seems that the Bulgarian Police had an open day and this is an article I found, but look closely doesn't this really say it all ? allowing these children to hold and pretend with real fire arms

Not sure on this one nets.

I am sure that the guns were not loaded, but all kids play with toy guns of some sort or another. The culture in BG is to see the Police wearing guns I cant say that I have ever heard of them being used in anger. Allowing kids to handle them may be a deterrent, maybe there was more to the exhibit than has been shown?
