Does anyone know how much a pair of snow chains for 175-70 14"
tyres would cost in Bulgaria? It looks like they are £60 odd in UK.

Not sure on that exact size, but if it is a standard size, prices start at 20lev...... and you DON'T have to travel with a set in your car in bulgaria if it isn't winter (as I was told before I came over) and ended up spending 160 pounds on a set!! Not saying that the 20 lev set will be much good, but as i've only used my set twice in 3 years as the winter tyres are great.

Certain roads are marked with a 'snow chains' sign. If you cross one of those and are stopped by Police, and don't have them in the car, then you will be fined.

They are always readily available in Kaufland at the appropriate time of year. :C:
