We are looking for writers with excellent knowledge of the city they live in to partner for joint development of audio narrated city walk
iPhone applications (also known as iPhone apps). The person must meet the following qualifications:
* Must have lived in the current city for at least six months.
* Native English speaker with excellent writing skill.
* Owning an iPhone or iPod Touch is a plus, but not required.

Anybody thinking of applying for this work, may want to check out this thread first, which cropped up some time ago (last May):

Last time these people (same people, just a new 'user' this time round) were totally unwilling to divulge basic information that any copywriter would require prior to applying for this position (number of words per article, copyrights, file formats, remuneration, invoicing details, credits, passing Copyscape premium, etc.).

If this information is not forthcoming this time, then apply at your peril as this is very basic information for anybody doing this kind of work.

This add is has already been posted you have registered here before so maybe you could tell me why you have registered in a different name? I shall delete this account shortly

I am sorry for repeating the same add. I am not the same person as the one who posted the previous add. It may be that me and the person who posted the other add work or have worked for the same company.

Perhaps you could answer the following, which the previous poster of this ad refused to do:

1. How many words per article do you require?
2. Copyright on image/s (transferred to you or stays with photographer)?
3. Copyright on actual article (transferred to you or stays with author)?
4. File formats for submitted copy - text and images (plus size / resolution of images)?
5. Remuneration per article (text + images)?
6. How/when payment will be made?
7. Do you require a VAT invoice?
8. Credits? Is author name included in the iPhone app and article?
9. Copyscape Premium? I suspect the article has to fully pass without plagiarism?

I think this would make everything much clearer to our Members.

I also think if you want a native English speaker to do excellent research (without plagiarism), provide text that passes Copyscape Premium, with copyright free images, then the remuneration should reflect this.

In order to reply to your specific questions:

1. There is an average of 700-1000 words per guide.
2,3. The author keeps the copyright to the content and grants GPSmyCity an exclusive and perpetual license to use it.
4. The text is directly uploaded to our website, the photos are in JPEG format and may have a size of up to 3MB.

6. Payment is made: (1) a bank check from a US-based bank mailed to the mailing address in the Author account
or (2) receive payment on Author's PayPal account.
Payments are made once a month if cumulative royalties for the current month do not reach $100, payment will roll over to the next month and so on.
7. No, we do not require VAT invoice.
8. Each iPhone app has a page with information about the author.
9. We have our own methods of verifying the articles for plagiarism.

I take this person never posts anything else either ? so is this one for the BIN
