Sofia water stoppages scheduled for October 27

Repair and overhaul work by Sofiyska Voda water company will result in temporary water stoppages in several boroughs and areas of Sofia, a company media statement announced on October 26 2010.

Maintenance works scheduled for October 27 mean that Tsar Simeon street, between Otec Paisii until Hristo Botev Boulevard, will be without running water from 9am until 9pm. Additionally, parts of Lyulin 4 will be left without water between 10am and 10pm.

Obelya 1, between Pancho Vladigerov Street and 24-25 Street, will also be affected on October 27 between 10am 2pm, as well as parts of the borough of Poduene.

Concurrently, between 9am and 9pm, Suhata Reka Street near Botevgradsko Chaussee, Vitinya Street, Vladimir Vazov Boulevard and Alexander Exarch Street will also have their water shut.

Sofiyska Voda have apologised to all costumers for the inconvenience caused by the overhaul works, but they say that these are essential and will subsequently improve the services substantially. The company also says that the works will ensure fewer potential technical malfunctions or problems with the water supply in the future.

This must be new I've never known anything like this before telling people there isn't going to be any water and then to supply with alternative is something of a joke

Yes krypton this is only a pipe dream if you ask me they never tell anyone when the water is going off and if you look in the supermarkets its obvious why they sell so many large containers of water
