The world famous Enrique Iglesias, Sugarbabes and DJ Sonique will participate in a free concert for the 15th anniversary of Bulgaria's largest mobile operator M-Tel. The concert will be held on September 29 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. Iglesias has been performing for 15 years and this was the main reason for the organizers to invite him at their celebration. “He is very emotional on stage and he captures and unites the audience. I am very happy to announce that such a big star on the international music scene is coming to greet our friends, fans and customers,” said Andreas Mayerhofer, CEO of M-Tel. The 35-year-old Spanish singer, who is currently promoting his last album “Euphoria”, will perform for the first time in Bulgaria. Heidi Range, Amelie Berrabah and Jade Ewen from the British trio Sugababes will also sing for the first time in front of Bulgarian audience.

Sugababes Skip Bulgarian Gig, Issue Apology

English pop girl group Sugababes will not be performing in Bulgaria's Sofia Wednesday night because of a health problem of one of the singers.

Sugababes were supposed to show up in Sofia together with Enrique Iglesias and DJ Sonique for the concert, which is free to the public, dedicated to the 15th birthday of the first and largest Bulgarian mobile phones operator M-Tel.

Heidi Range, Amelie Berrabah and Jade Ewen from the British trio Sugababes, however, will not be singing for the first time in front of Bulgarian audience because at the end of last week Heidi Range got hurt in a household accident.

As a result, Sugababes have already skipped two other appearances. Heidi is said to have hoped to recover by the M-Tel show in Bulgaria but her doctors have recommended that she should not perform.

Heidi, Amelie, and Jade have presented their apologies to the Bulgarian fans through the organizers of the event.

The Sofia concert is still to feature Enrique Iglesias and DJ Sonique. Iglesias has been performing for 15 years and this was the main reason for the organizers to invite him at their celebration.

Bulgaria's M-Tel to Give out 30,000 Raincoats at Iglesias Concert

Bulgaria's first and largest mobile phone operator M-Tel will give out 30,000 raincoats at the concert Wednesday, dedicated to its 15th birthday.

The raincoats will be given for free at the entrances to the concert. The reasons are the forecast for rainy weather and the restriction for umbrellas due to security measures.

On Tuesday, the English pop girl group Sugababes announced they will skip their performance in Sofia because of a health problem of one of the singers.
