sorry mates aint managed to do this receipe today,had really bad news bout me son,hes still in surgery nearly 5 hours now,they couldnt put pins in too badly damaged so they are putting several plates into both hands,and they still havent said how bad his elbow is,such a worring time,but ive totally cleaned house made dinner for next 2 days,so tomoz will definately need something to do,so will tackle it then probably,will also do the alphabet for everyone ok. sorry.

Celia I am sorry to hear that, don't worry about anything else your son is more important, keep us all informed as to how he is ?

Agreed Celia you shouldn't worry about anything at the moment just your son we can all wait till your ready and your son has recovered give him all our best and we all hope for a quick recovery

thank u everyone for all ur very kind messages,hey chris may need some info from u as hes only a 25 yr old man,has just got engaged,has a fairly new mortgage,and a very good job,which invoves of all things using his hands,we r so worried bout him now and for his future.will keep u posted

I was really worried when I got my first plates inserted (motorcycle accident) as I've only ever worked with my hands, however, I'm doing fine ... get a bit of 'aches and pains' in the colder months, but that's only to be expected. However, there's no way a few surgeries could stop me doing what I do best.

I wish your son the very best in his recovery and I'm sure he'll be back on the keyboard in no time.

update on my son,,,,,,, :) :) ,hes outta surgery nearly 6 hrs,,they decided to just put plates in both wrists,not sure bout his elbow yet,was cryin with happiness at this part of news,also theyve decided to just bandage it lots an lots instead of plastering,,,just to c how it heals like that.so though still not nice news,,,,much much better than first thought,hes talking to specialists today,bout his injuries so will keep u updated,,his fiancee is much happier now,,shes getting much needed half cuddles from him,,,,,ohhhhh young love.there is some beauty left to c in these days of hardship.natter later

Hello has any got any news on Celia's son? haven't seen her on here for a while and I just wondered if he was recovering ok ?

sorry guys aint been on here not been 2 good a time for me since i was last here,not only did my son have the accident,and yes thank you he seems to be doing ok,hes going for his first check up this week to c how things r doing,with his hands wrists,and they also found a small fracture in his cheek bone but not a lot they can do bout that unless its serious,so just settling into not worrying so much bout him,and my uncle in uk died,from cancer,his wife also is undergoing chemo for reoccuring breast cancer.and due to the fact they didnt organise the funeral fully till saturday just gone,funeral was today,i couldnt get a flight over,so bit unhappy bout that,but im going 2 uk soonish,so will go pay my respects then,my uncle was the brother (my father icluded) of 11brothers an sisters,there is now only my dad his twin,who has dyalasis 3 times aweek,(the twin not me dad),and 2 sisters remaining,one has senial dementia and is in a home the other god love her is 98 yrs old.so with the way things r with the weather horrible horrible,things tend to play on your mind more dramatically than usual.so me not a very happy bunny at the moment,ohhhhh and to top it all ive got earache and a cold [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] :cheers: ,but hey give me a few days ill b ok and drivin u lot round the bend with my idol nitter natter ok.thanks for the concern,its nice to know even strangers uve never meet can become concerned.

Hi Celia sorry to hear about your loss, but on the positive side I'm glad you son is out of the woods, I'm sur that I speak for all on hear to wish your uncles wife (Aunty) all the best and hope things go well for her with the treatment .
