In the UK when you reach the age of 70 your driving licence is due for renewal plus there is also a need to have a letter from a Doctor to say that you are fit enough to drive. This process is then repeated every 5 years. All straight forward if you live in the UK.

I know there are some people that live here that are over this age. So what have you done in order to keep your licence going.

My neighbour informs me that you must reapply for a new licence every five years, with the usual supporting documents (eye tests, etc.).

It may be worth checking with KAT in Yambol as each region ask for different supporting documents.

Sofia's busiest arteries and junctions have been mapped by the Interior Ministry, concentrating on those sections most prone to speeding or serious traffic accidents, the report said. In all, more than 20 locations have been identified and tagged as high-risk, which are to be equipped with radar surveillance equipment "

Currently, new state-of-the-art radar surveillance equipment is being installed along Tsarigradsko Chaussee Boulevard to detect traffic offenders. The equipment detects speed and provides police with high resolution imaging of the vehicle, as well as the offence perpetrated.
