| Housing prices in Bulgaria during the first quarter of 2009 are down nearly 18% compared to the same period in 2009....
WOW! That is some drop.. They didn't tell us that would happen in my 'Places in the Sun' Magazine. MJC |

| There is absolutely no logic in making comparisons between the Bulgarian housing market & the UK..The simple reason the BG housing market has fallen is.. no company wants to invest in a country whose biggest export is corruption..by the same token .. As a new member of the European Union it hasn't conformed to the EU sanctions which was part of its conditions of entry.
Its tourist industry is a dead cat bounce..simply because they out-priced it...For a country that have been building houses before the UK it sure ain't learnt a lot... The Government treat their foreign contingent with contempt with an abysmal justice system & the billions that were allocated for restructuring of the Country has been stolen..Now these are not recipes for a vibrant housing market are they ? MJC
PS I have only just scratched the surface.. Brussels will fill you in on the rest. Nite! Nite ! MJC |

| If anyone looked at the National Statistics Institute report, you would see that the prices quoted are only those for flats (not including new build apartments) and no houses. There is a clear note on the figures saying Flats prices only (new flats are excluded) |
