The high tea will include Mulled wine, Mince pies, Sausage rolls, Cake &
or Dessert. With tea &
coffee @ 10 leva per person :Xmas4:

I wish we could be at this event it sounds wonderful, full of festive fun packed with delicious foods, high teas and scrumptious cakes etc, live music, lots of stalls to purchase your Xmas pressies :Xmas2:. Jo is very busy organizing all sort of activities to make this event very special. She will be looking forward to seeing you all there. She will also be looking for volunteers on the day so please let her know if you can spare an hour or two. Have fab time we will be thinking of your all over here in the UK.

Hi Guys

Just had an updated on this event from Joanna Newman
Wow not long now &
the weather forecast is good dry cloudy 11c!!! I will now be stressing (a lot) over the baking &
having meetings to organise tables, decs, music, timings etc.
On the subject of need, we need VOLUNTEER'S on the day please if you can give an hour to man a table, sell raffle tickets sell refreshments please please please message myself or Alison Stow. If you can stay at the end &
help pack down, we would be very grateful or maybe you can come early &
help set up. Whatever you can manage will be very much appreciated.

Don't forget to book your Christmas tea @ 10 leva per person. Served inside at your very own table (can be shared with friends, just let us know how many together) with proper cutlery, cups saucers &
plates :-) So that's lunch sorted!

Later on you will be able to purchase your dinner with Tinsel Tandoori Chicken, Samosas &
chapati hot from the BBQ. Mmmmm

We hope to be able to offer Hot chocolate with Baileys &
roasted chestnuts throughout the day to keep you warm alongside Hot homemade Mulled Wine

There are lots of gift ideas to chose from, a good mix of craft stalls, bric a brac, bake sale, book stall, clothing, Christmas cards &
a fantastic Raffle!!!!!

So book the day off, the weather is fine, it's Christmas time, come and have some fun! :: :Party2: :Dance: :Band:

This last even went very well and the Secret Garden Tea Rooms raised a massive 690lev (not yet received) They all had a fantastic time. Detail on our website events

As you know the Secret Garden Tea Rooms Facebook Group put on tea parties from time to time and donate the funds to a charity organization and this time (for the second time this year) they selected The Silistra orphanage us to receive the funds towards our Bunk Bed Appeal. to all those that attended and a massive to Joanne &
Nigel Newman for thinking of the Silistra Orphanage we look forward to hearing from you again in the futures.

So sorry that the event had to be postponed, but considering the atrocious driving conditions and the ice covering everything, it was the right decision to make. We couldn't even get the car off of our property, our roads locally were shiny with ice and not safe to walk on the snowy verges either.
