2-3 years are needs to establish Museum of Military Glory in Yambol
At least 2-3 years will be needed to establish a Museum of Military Glory in the town of Yambol, said the mayor of the town Georgi Slavov. The idea on the establishment of the museum was given by the municipality, big part of the residents as well as former and present militaries. It arises out of the wish to pay honor to the fact Yambol, was one of the biggest garrisons in Bulgaria. The museum should pay honor to the military glory of the Bulgarian Army.
The museum will be build at the territory of the former cantonment in the town, where big party of the authentic buildings had been kept. Everything from the every day life of the army will be exposed in the museum.
“The authentic buildings will be restored as they had looked like in the end of the 19th, at the beginning of the 20th century and nowadays – the museums of the 29th Yambol Infantry Regiment, other regiments, which had contributed to the glory of the Bulgarian Army and many arms, etc.,â€Â, mayor said.
