I think the two 'Member Services' sections could be somewhat confusing! One is 'Member to Member Services' and then 'Member Services Links'?

Could somebody kindly explain exactly what type of post is allowed in which sections (or more importantly, which type of posts are not allowed in which section).

Is one section for 'promoting' our own businesses?

Hiya Chris I can see where your coming from and yes it may seem to be confusing, the idea here is that some members like yourself will have a small business offering all sorts of advice etc and then there are others who may be selling a property or even a few, not REA's and most of you will have your own website, the idea is so that those with a website will be allowed a whole page which will include a picture link to their site, with some information on the page about what it is they have to offer, the member to member services section can still be used and links will still be allowed but this will more than likely be used by those members who don't have a website, I figured that this would allow those members who have perhaps more than 1 or 2 properties for sale are even as in the case of yourself a magazine that is regularly available to be able to promote their site on the forum with out having the need to have the site cluttered with banners, it just keeps it tidy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] It's just and idea that I hope will benefit the members and for them to promote their own site/services, if I think it is becoming to confusing I will have to look at it again, but I am just trying to make it so that the site is easy to navigate and all the websites are in one place but not penalising those without a site [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] this is probably as clear as mud :lol:but it's the only way I can explain at the moment, if you don't have a problem with it when that section is ready to open I would like to use your banner as an example, if you don't want that then just let me know

Hello Ashley I can see what Chris is saying but I have to agree with you what a good idea it will be a bit like a directory :cheers: perhaps to make things clearer it might be a good idea if the tile was changed on one of them? just a thought but it's sounds like a good idea overall

Sounds like a great idea for those who rely on their website for an income? can't see why this won't work if it's not abused [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Just looked at the new section looks like a good idea I like the idea of a picture link it will give the reader some continuity when they visit the site, it's a shame that some other sites don't consider their members in the same way [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] well done Admin [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
