Indonesia Hit by 7,0-Magnitude Earthquake
An earthquake of 7,0 on the Richter scale rocked eastern Indonesia Sunday, according to local reports.
The U.S. Geological Survey put the intensity of earthquake at 6.4 magnitude. The quake struck the Moluccas (Maluku, or Spice Islands), at 9:57 a.m. local time.
No casualties or damages have been reported, and no tsunami warning has been issued. On Saturday, a 6,5-magnitude quake shook Manokwari in West Papua province, with no casualties or damages reported.
