First car Ford Anglia

Best car New Mondeo (UK)

Now retired and 12 Year old Lancia (BG)

Basically I started with crap, got a decent car when I had a few bob, now I'm retired

Lets see what there is about.

First car - Renault 21

Best Car - Toss up between my old Rover which I loved, or the Mazda

Now - Haven't really got a car as such, we have an Escort Estate that could more accurately be described as a toolbox on wheels than a car! Will shortly be acquiring a larger toolbox (van) so maybe, when i scrape the grime off the Escort it will be better!

My first car was a Ford Anglia and after that I had 4 Mini's over a few years, after them I had quite a few inc Rover, Ford,Alfa, VW Beatle and the list goes on but the best over all for me is my Mitsubishi Pajero

First car was a hotted up mini which I rolled after one week.Best car was a Sabb convertible new in 2007.It was a company car though.

First bike after test was a suzuki gt250 model c.Best bike?? There's been a few!! Honda Blackbird,Fireblade,two triumph trophies,bmw k1200lt +rt tourers,ducati st4,harley 1200 sportster,wr426 dirt bike and a 900 diversion.

The K1200lt was the best as it had a stereo and reverse gear and I didn't feel the need to fly up the M1 at speeds that guaranteed imprisonment,but the nicest all rounder to ride was the diversion.

Now I don't work I just have a trail bike which is ideal for where i live........Oh yes and the van!!

First car i had was a orange mini with fat wheels,could,nt hear the radio when it got to 50 mph as it rattled too much,then had a brown cortina that every time it went through a puddle it conked out, then had a vw scirrocco auto,lovely car now got a frontera,had to grow up!!! well here goes.

1st car ford escort estate,given to me to learn in by the old man.

2nd car...old L reg beetle..stripped to the floor and rebuilt..lowered the max(cal look).
this car was my baby...spent thousands and showed it at all of the beetle rallys in the early 90s...colour was electric blue.
3,4 5. ...etc..vw siccoro, fiesta xr2, escort xr3i.

6, new BMW 328i.

7, pajero...WORST CAR EVER....soon got rid.

8, jeep grand cheeroke.4ltr petrol..thirstyist car ever.

9, VW golf.2.8 V6 4motion 2 door in dark blue...de cated and lowered....this was a mega fast car..i took it up to 155 mph...shocking..lol.

10,GMC astro safari, 4.3 ltr petrol jap import.7 seater..5 tvs...it had the works...full custom jobby...had to go as we brought it here to BG twice and was totaly unsuitable for Bulgarian roads.

11, jeep grand cheeroke, 4.7 v8 on GAS...cheap to run & great for BG.

now lastly...i still own a car which ive had for years and fully renovated & even brought over here to BG...

its a 1984 ford escort RS TURBO CABRIOLET....burgundy over white.....full concours condition..very fast running 280 BHP.lowered 40 mm all round, and ive just swapped the headlights this week to lhd ones, bg plates soon.

ps another couple of cas ive had were a saab 9000 turbo & a volvo s70 t5...police car.

i love cars...should of been called PETROL HEAD NOT BOBSKI!!!

we had a rover 1929 which we renovated and sold, good deal. worst car vaxhall viva had to push it every day. nice car m5 bmw, but here you need a 4x4 to deal with the pot holes. so forget all the others, get a hardy tough reliable car that can cope with the horrible roads in bulgaria. thats your only hope. even in third world countries they have better roads than here. they are awful.

Now the kids have left home I have a Vauxhall Tigra. Love it - it does go a bit faster than my avatar!!
