Purely through word of mouth we found this wonderful little cafe down a side-street in Elhovo. Their menu includes many old favourites from the UK, cheeseburger in a proper bun, pie and chips, toasties with real Cheddar, they even have steak and chips on the menu. Although the menu is 'British' the prices are Bulgarian, i.e. very reasonable. The service was swift and attentive, it was so nice to be served by someone wearing a big smile!
To find it, from the Bus station head for the town centre, you'll reach a cross roads, the centre is straight ahead, the gas filling station on the right, turn left and Taylors is immediately on the left, a lilac painted shop front. Alternatively, in the pedestrianised bit, turn down at the Postbank and they are at the bottom of the road on the right.
We will certainly be back
