| Sallyann you have every right to be concerned if a time served electrician is asking these questions on the internet then he isn't what he says he is also a teenager could answer the first question and possibly the second one and the last two which are both the same is very basic knowledge I would be very wary of taking advice from someone who is only getting his answers from wiki hope this helps you but other may have their say and maybe Peter can add his view on this by the way your link doesn't work |

| I made a vow that I would not get involved in the Electrical discussions on the forum, Peter gives quite sound advice
But what I will give is the best advice that can be given. If you are not qualified in the Electrical Installations Industry then do not touch something that is beyond your knowledge. In BG this applies to most any other trade as well. Use qualified craftsmen only. Electric shock can burn and has caused many a death to even those that are supposed to know what they are doing. |

| I don't think I can add anything to this sallyann it seems that your question has already been answered quite clearly by krypton, but I too would advise you as tonyb60 has don't mess with electricity unless your qualified to do so |

Yet people think they can still build 'professional' web sites with no qualifications or experience. It gets right on my Boobs to be honest People presenting their 'shop window' to the World with a site that looks like it has been made by a five year old. (end rant) |

| Thanks Oddy something else to chew on or moan or whatever.
Maybe people can give examples of how they have been ripped off maybe even praise for a good job done.
We have had both really. Had a Bulgarian style patio/ paths laid, cost over 3 grand sterling. They used gipsy labour cheap materials. Result water does not run away, puddles everywhere the conrete infill is coming up and flaking
Had a wood boiler installed. Could not be better good craftsmen does exactly what it says on the tin
Over to you lot why when and what please. But please no names its just not fair. |
