We went out to-day for our usual thrill of the week (shopping)

As we drove into the car park in Billa there was a woman who had collapsed and was sprawled out on the car park in full view of all passers by. I stopped our car and went to see if this woman needed help. As it was she was unconscious and not coherent in anyway. I left my wife with her and summoned help from the security lady in the shop. Although she was dealing someone she instantly recognised the need to come quickly. I suppose me dragging her by the hand made her realise. Anyway she came and instantly called an ambulance which arrived in 5 Minutes. Well you cannot fault the medical service on this response. Well the lady was quickly assessed and taken to hospital. We were thanked by the security lady who told us that Bulgarians would not have bothered.

The question is if you were in our situation would you have helped?

In answer to your question, yes my husband I would certainly have helped, also all my family would have done also. I think that us British most of us are careing people, it is the way we were bought up, me being a silver surfer to Ha! Ha! It must have given you a sence of good feeling, for going to the assistence of this unfortunate lady.

yes tony would certainly have stepped in to help.....and have done a couple of times here ,whilst many bulgarians have more or less stepped over the body ... sad !

Yes, indeed we would also have stopped and helped as would most of our members on here. It causes me concern that people would just pass by and not even check if the poor lady was OK I am rather at that, considering how we all say how friendly and help the Bulgarian are. And how come the security did not pick up on this via the cameras which they all have now.

Hope the lady was ok Poor love, wonder how long she would have been left if you two did not show up.

Well I think someone was looking after me to-day after our experience with the poor lady.

I always change over from my distance glasses into my sun glass in the car. This means putting my normals into the sunglasses case. But to-day when I changed back one of the arms had fallen off . The screw was still in the case . Who ever is looking down and saying well done

I think what you done Tony was great,i would have done the same,but these Bulgarian people do not seem to have any regard for otheres,so maybe us brits can teach them a thing or two,well done

That lady was very lucky you were there, and willing and able to help.Yes we would have helped, I don't know how people can just walk away.

Well done Tony I think what you did is what any decent caring human would do, but I do find that in my experience its only the minority of Bulgarians that show this sort of un-caring attitude
