Has anybody seen things over here ,that if in the UK the police would wet themselves laughing before nicking you? We were on our way into town,slowing down to do a right turn a car over took with four pieces of stirling board on the roof and an arm out of each window holding it on , not a piece of rope in site even the driver had his arm out!! No good if you only have two friends!!

Oh Loup that is so funny Infact it reminds me of the time we went to our Villa and our furnature was not being delivered for a week - Sleeping on the floor was killing me. Our friend bought a new bed from rgw UK but had no use for it, so we bought it. Now all we had to get it back 40km. I said leave it until we get our friend with the van to pick it up, but before I knew what was happening the two men and decided they would put this really heavy looking single bed on the roof of the old taxi we had rented for our stay. It just fitted and they tied it down with the washing line The headboard was knocking at the back window and I was having kittens as every bump seem to move the bed a bit more.

It was the most nerve wrecking 40km journey I have ever done. Never again, but the men thought nothing of it. When we got to our place we had to go down a steep hill I was sure the bed would get there before us - But we got there in one piece but never again. can you imagine trying that here in the UK Not likely

We bought 6 white pvc sunbeds last year which were tied onto the top of our Suzuki Jimney.They stacked up higher than the actual car is...I was whittling all the way home we would be stopped by the cops
