Moderate Quake Shakes Central Greece

A moderate earthquake measuring 5.1 on the open-ended Richter scale shook central Greece early Friday, seismologists at an Athens observatory said.

The epicentre of the tremor, which struck at 2:46 am (0046 GMT), was located about 15 kilometres (nine miles) east of the town of Naupacte, about 160 kilometres (100 miles) west of Athens.

There have been no reports of damage or casualties.

Greece is the European nation most exposed to earthquakes, experiencing about half of all instances recorded on the continent.

This is the second earthquake I've read about in the last couple of days in Greece it seems that our planet isn't happy right now [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'm sure this is all related to the major one they had in Haiti but as you say is it the planet telling us something ?
