Bulgarian Govt to Send 3 Military Experts to Afghan NATO Office

It is expected that the Bulgarian government will approve to send three specialized servicemen to Afghanistan at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

The experts will be assigned to international positions at the NATO headquarters in Kabul for involvement in the operation of international forces to maintain security in Afghanistan.

A draft agreement between the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense and Afghan National Police to grant military permission to the three servicemen is expected to be approved.

Ministers will also decide on the future of the government commission to regulate and control the production and trade of military and special products and the Interministerial Council on Defense Mobilization of the country.

They also offerd to send cooks but NATO refused on the grounds the troops needed feeding not poisoning(could always launch kebabchees and kuftatees at Taliban) make them run for it!! had to be done!! Hi Lou I don't think this really is a laughing matter there are innocent people being killed all the time not to mention the troops so please have a little respect for what is really going on over there

As an ex service woman married to an ex service man we know full well what is going on,and the troops on the front line would laugh at having 3 ex warsaw pact advisors telling them what they should be doing.

That may well be the case but you don't know that the service personel being sent are better or worse than what's is already out there ? I just don't think is something that we should joke about and if you and your partner are ex services then you shouldn't need me to tell you! Sorry but this is how strong I feel about it since I lost someone close to me in Afghanistan
