Hi everybody
Just a suggestion. If you are a victim or know somebody who is and is fighting the Bulgarian legal system [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Why not use this media to exchange views and experiences
On fighting our Villa Lorna case my wife and I found the support and companionship these forums gave us was invaluable
I have already said, and I repeat. In my opinion you will not WIN on your own
Cheers

In my personal experience, you will win on your own and we ddid. These forums are an excellent form of support but you do not need forum members to win a legal case against Bulgaria, Bulgarians, or others.

Hi
Would you care to share with us all what you won, how long it took and with which court
It's information like yours and mine that may give other's hope to fight for their rights
I know many people who have been conned, robbed, beaten up etc and have lost thousands of pounds
and have received no help or assistance from anybody

Driving licence stolen. Despite proof from DVLA in UK, Bulgarians refused driving licence without full test, theory and driven, plus medical course etc... Didn't go to court, dealt with it privately through the EU parties and the EC and the Bulgarian ombudsman. Set an EU precedence for anyone in this situation in Bulgaria. Indeed, this case was cited by an elderly Brit on the northern Black Sea coast, who because of this obtained a replacement licence here.

Neighbour built a 5m high wall on the boundary. Went to local mayor's office and complained orally and in writing. All our BG neighbours said we were mad as this immediate neighbour is good friends with local head of police and we would never win. Got wall taken down immediately after letter from mayor.

Very simple, no courts involved.... the main thing is know your ground, know who you should go to and be able to speak.

We won nothing, just won over the bureaucracy... beat the system if you like.

With all due respect FlorryB, Your posting and mine are not on the same wavelength. I was refering to real crime, fraud, criminals and organised crime [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] where the cases go the Town Court, the District Court and the Supreme Court and it takes two to three years to get a verdict and a file with over 400 pages in it, also the cost of up to 10,000 euro to fight your case

Yes it does scott, and I do know of similar cases to mine where violence has been involved and also another lady who bought in Bansko with money from her 15 year old daughter who had inherited it from her grand-mothers death. They have nothing and walked away from it. I also know of another lady who went bankrupt as a result of buying a property When she arrived she found that 2 other persons had also bought the same property [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This is the sort of crime I am referring to
