| I recently booked flights from Bucharest to Luton via Blueair for the high season August and I must admit I am well impressed with their costs. Bucharest to London Luton August Out 16.00 hours arrive luton 17.25 2 flights and 1 32kg of laggage plus free 10kg per person hand luggage to Luton Back: leave Luton 10.30am arrive Bucharest 15.00 2 fights and 2 32kg of luggage plus free 10kg per person hand luggage all for £275 We cross the Danube at Silsitra and the drive is 2.5hrs so it takes us a 1/5 longer than driving to Varna. | I agree , great news ...but only if your position in both countries gives you reasonable acess to both Luton and Bucherest...if your hours travelling at both end by road..then its a NoNo..as you could still be better off paying extra for a varna or sofia landing...lot to considered and weight up

That is exactly right VG, here is an example, Veronica classed as our Bulgarian daughter and came to the UK for our Golden Wedding celebrations last month returned on Blue Air. I took her to Luton Airport leaving our home in Oxfordshire at 7-o-clock in the morning. She arrived at her home in Varna at 11-o-clock that night, that is a long day but a cheap way to get from A to B, but not for me at my time in life |

| Yes agree VG and yes indeed too long a drive Willow, we are right on the Danube so Bucharest is good for us There is about half our difference from Driving to Varna or driving to Bucharest plus if we fly from Varna because of the flight times we have to stay in a hotel every time. It's swings and roundabouts for everyone just have to find the best way that suits your needs. |

| Oops! had notification on Thursday that the flight is cancelled back from the UK to Romania but they have given us options, reroute, save to another time or full refund. I rang them on Friday and have opt for retout, the exact same times etc but for the next day. Just waiting to hear now. When I checked on Friday there were only 2 seats left so hope they don't leave it too long or we will miss them. |

| I must say i have used Blueair a few times now and have found they to be very good however, I booked our daughter and grandaughter on a flight for May and I just checked them in. All went well until seating, they have no options other than select a seat for a fee so thought just click continue and they will allocate a seat as all the other airlines does, Sure enough they did this. So our daughter and 6 year old granddaugher are sitting together on the way here but on the way home they have book grandaugher two rows being the Mum.... how clever is that The computer is away that one passanger is a child Naturally they want you to buy a seat but someone will change with them or the stewardess/stewart will make sure they sit together. A big con eh! |
