I have type 2 diabetes ontrolled by tablets ie Metformin and Glickzide. I went to the doctors and informed her of this and got a no response from her, the doctor could speak English.I was confused as in the UK they this condition seriously as you get a card with what treatment you have had and regular blood tests. Here it seems that diabetes is by the way and of no concern? I take then that diabetes does not exist here in Bulgaria or they do not understand the seriousness of it! Any advice would be appreciated but at the moment I feel fine and my tablets are doing the job,I think.I have been here a year now and I have been told that I can go to the hospital and have a blood test which is fine but who look at the results or despense any treament if needed?

We are hoping to come over to live next year but my partner has concerns over her ability to access Novorapid and Lantus in BG. She wd have to pay for prescriptions so does anyone know the cost of filling a script for these drugs

hi
you dont pay a prescription charge here...you pay for ever medicine you need

this apteka (chemist ) sells Novorapid and Im sure if you google other aptekas you will find a price for both

there are some cases wre the patient gets Insulin free...your doctor here would advise on that
